AMERICAN CENTER FOR NATURAL MEDICINE
BRIEF BIO
Being raised in a household with an eastern philosophy, eating nutritious foods and using home remedies was the standard for health. During my undergraduate program, I allowed the rigors of the program to take priority over my healthy lifestyle; as a result, I was frequently sick, fatigued, and had a lot of memory and concentration difficulties. The cognitive symptoms were the worst part. I used conventional medicine which helped my symptoms, but didn’t address the underlying cause of why my body was not in balance.
Shortly after graduating college, I learned about naturopathic medicine. I knew this was the gateway to regaining my health. I moved from New Jersey to one of the warmest and sunniest states in the country to attend the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, where I received extensive medical training in conventional and traditional medicine. Not only have I felt the best I have ever felt since receiving naturopathic care, but I have been able to prevent further illness from setting in.
My focus is working with individuals managing multiple sclerosis to halt the progression of the disease and restore health to their body. I place a specific emphasis on the mental and emotional aspects of the disease, as it is a huge component of health. I firmly believe that healing can occur for every patient, given the right tools and resources as well as the patient’s willingness to fully take part in their health journey.
During my down time, I love to explore new hiking trails and spend time with family and friends.
